DIVISIONS OF THE PHILOSOPHY SCIENCE

In this blog I will discuss the meaning of philosophy, arguments, learning and knowledge, evidence and reasons, ethics and happiness, race, ethnicity and culture, scientific explanation, scientific inquiry and hypothesis and laws and theory. From those ideas and definitions, we can get a good knowledge and idea about philosophy. It is a great help for the daily activities of our life.

Philosophy is a logical query other than science. Maybe science will end the inquiries. Many philosophers and rationalists who lived in the past thought that there was nothing we could intelligently examine except scientific facts. But this opinion is often not correct. Which branch of science answers the question of whether or not science covers all logical queries? Philosophical questions are questions about human inquiry and the limits of knowledge. We can gain a better understanding of philosophy by considering things other than the scientific facts that can be explored by man. Philosophical sciences are much more diverse and diverse than what we find, but most of them fall into one of three major disciplines: metaphysics, astronomy, and ethics.

Argument and explanation are distinct forms of reasoning with an underappreciated complementary relationship. Argument is important because it allows people to enhance the quality of the arguments they make and evaluate arguments constructed by others. argument is essentially the study of reasoning or argumentation. We are free to argue about anything. Anything should not be accepted at once. As argumentation theory has moved away from classical logic as a standard, sources have played an increasingly important role in the psychology of argumentation.

There are several kinds of arguments in logic, the best-known of which are "Deductive" and "Inductive." an argument has one or more premises but only one conclusion. Each premise and the conclusion are truth bearers or "truth-candidates", each capable of being either true or false (but not both). These truth values bear on the terminology used with arguments.

Knowledge is a familiarity, awareness, or understanding of someone or something, such as facts, skills, or objects. By most accounts, knowledge can be acquired in many different ways and from many sources, including but not limited to perception, reason, memory, testimony, scientific inquiry, education, and practice. The philosophical study of knowledge is called epistemology.

Learning is not only what we gain from schooling. It is better to say that from the birth to the death we are learning. Learning allows us to expand our knowledge. There is no single approach or instrument for learning. That is, you can apply it to anything in society, not only education. It is the process of acquiring new understanding, knowledge, behaviors, skills, values, attitudes, and preferences.

The words "Evidence", "testimony" and "testify" both derive from the Latin word testis, referring to the notion of a disinterested third-party witness. The philosophy of testimony considers the nature of language and knowledge's confluence, which occurs when beliefs are transferred between speakers and hearers through testimony. Testimony constitutes words, gestures, or utterances that convey beliefs. In the field of philosophy, testimony is defined as the intentional transfer of a belief from one person to another. The transfer can be verbal, written, or signaled in some way. Our central question of evidence can be divided into two dimensions, and presents four clear questions for investigation.

Reason is the capacity of consciously applying logic to seek truth and draw conclusions from new or existing information. It is closely associated with such characteristically human activities as philosophy, science, language, mathematics, and art, and is normally considered to be a distinguishing ability possessed by humans. Reason is sometimes referred to as rationality. Reasoning is associated with the acts of thinking and cognition, and involves using one's intellect. The field of logic studies the ways in which humans can use formal reasoning to produce logically valid arguments.

Ethics is not what we think or feel is right or wrong. Ethics is not relative to an individual’s desires and beliefs. Ethical relativism means each individual decides what is right and what is wrong in a particular circumstance. Morality is the belief that some behavior is right and acceptable and that other behavior is wrong. A morality is a system of principles and values concerning people's behavior, which is generally accepted by a society or by a particular group of people.

Happiness has also been linked to better decision-making and improved creativity. So, rather than success being the key to happiness, research shows that happiness could in fact be the key to success. But it doesn't just help us function better: happiness also brings substantial benefits for society as a whole. It's the feeling of truly enjoying your life, and the desire to make the very best of it. Happiness is the "secret sauce" that can help us be and do our best. Here's what researchers found when they studied happy people: Happy people are more successful.

A race is a grouping of humans based on shared physical or social qualities into categories generally viewed as distinct by society. The term was first used to refer to speakers of a common language and then to denote national affiliations. Modern science regards race as a social construct, an identity which is assigned based on rules made by society. While partially based on physical similarities within groups, race does not have an inherent physical or biological meaning.

An ethnic group or ethnicity is a grouping of people who identify with each other on the basis of shared attributes that distinguish them from other groups such as a common set of traditions, ancestry, language, history, society, culture, nation, religion or social treatment within their residing area. Ethnicity is sometimes used interchangeably with the term nation, particularly in cases of ethnic nationalism, and is separate from, but related to the concept of races. Ethnicity can be an inherited status or based on the society within which one lives. Ethnic groups often continue to speak related languages.

Culture is an umbrella term which encompasses the social behavior and norms found in human societies, as well as the knowledge, beliefs, arts, laws, customs, capabilities, and habits of the individuals in these groups. Humans acquire culture through the learning processes of enculturation and socialization, which is shown by the diversity of cultures across societies.

An explanation is a set of statements usually constructed to describe a set of facts which clarifies the causes, context, and consequences of those facts. This description may establish rules or laws, and may clarify the existing rules or laws in relation to any objects, or phenomena examined. Philosophers have investigated the explanatory power of scientific explanation and the principles it uses to successfully analyze and define scientific theories. It shows the relation of philosophy with scientific explanation. Scientific explanation is a reason for something on the principles of science. We evaluate scientific explanations by comparing it to the current evidence and looking at what predictions it makes about the world. The term explanation is sometimes used in the context of justification.

The scientific method is an empirical method of acquiring knowledge that has characterized the development of science since at least the 17th century. It involves careful observation, applying rigorous skepticism about what is observed, given that cognitive assumptions can distort how one interprets the observation. It involves formulating hypotheses, via induction, based on such observations; experimental and measurement-based testing of deductions drawn from the hypotheses; and refinement (or elimination) of the hypotheses based on the experimental findings. These are principles of the scientific method, as distinguished from a definitive series of steps applicable to all scientific enterprises.

The search for scientific knowledge goes back to the past. At some point in the past, at least by the time of Aristotle, philosophers accepted that there must be a fundamental difference between two types of scientific knowledge - general knowledge and why knowledge. Scientific research is the way in which scientists propose explanations based on the various methods of studying the natural world and the evidence obtained from their work.

In science, hypothetical construction can be said to be essential. Imagination can build up after observing something. Hypothesis is a definite, verifiable statement about whether researchers are predicting the outcome of a study. This usually involves suggesting a possible relationship between two variables: the independent variable and the dependent variable. In research, there is a consensus that the hypothesis is written in two ways, zero hypothesis and alternative hypothesis.

Law is a system of rules created and enforced through social or governmental institutions to regulate behavior, with its precise definition a matter of longstanding debate. It has been variously described as a science and the art of justice.

A scientific theory is a well-substantiated explanation of some aspect of the natural world, based on a body of facts that have been repeatedly confirmed through observation and experiment. Such fact-supported theories are not "guesses" but reliable accounts of the real world.
